SWISSAID Geneva, set up in September 2006, is an independent association within the meaning of the Swiss Civil Code, with its head office in Geneva. It makes an active contribution to the voluntary sector in Geneva.

The SWISSAID Geneva Association works to inform and raise awareness among the public in Geneva. It alerts people to major global challenges – such as the transparent management of oil revenues and food sovereignty – and gives a voice to representatives of countries in the South.

In Geneva’s international environment, the SWISSAID Geneva Association makes the most of synergies with other key players in development and North-South relations. Although legally independent, SWISSAID Geneva works closely with the SWISSAID Foundation on specific issues and on projects in the countries of the South.

Better than clenching your fist!

Membership of the SWISSAID Geneva Association means:
– participating in exciting projects that deal with the North-South problem.
– using your professional and personal skills, your time and spirit of enterprise to help build a fairer world.
