Despite a tense political and social climate, SWISSAID recorded one of the highest levels of donations in its history in 2025. This solidarity supports 294,947 people in ten countries.

Nobody should go hungry — yet around a third of the world’s population suffers from hunger or malnutrition. Violent conflicts, climate change, and the biodiversity crisis are further worsening the situation. While development cooperation is under pressure globally, SWISSAID was able to improve the living conditions of more than 298,000 women, men, and children in 2024 — thanks to the dedication of our teams and partners around the world.
