Help as a School

The SWISSAID trinket sale has flourished for more than 75 years and is still a special experience for every schoolchild today. Whether with the traditional sale on the street or a challenge in the digital space: with the trinket sale, students are learning for life. With their efforts, they support disadvantaged people in Africa, Asia and South America. 10% of the profits can be kept for the class kitty. And there’s a chance of being thanked in person by the President of the Swiss Confederation!

We would like to make the trinket sale as valuable as possible for teachers and their students. Please fill out our questionnaire(DE) and help us to further improve our offer.

Traditional or digital? Our trinkets, your choice

  • Trinket sale on the street

Selling directly from person to person is a valuable experience for the children and promotes important social, methodical and personal skills: civil courage, solidarity, handling money and enjoyment of helping others.

  • Digital Trinket Challenge

Create an individual fundraising campaign together with your class in a playful and educational way: with many opportunities to link up with learning content that is required by Curriculum 21. The campaign promotes the students’ media skills and knowledge of development cooperation.
